On Friday, January 2008, the celebrations for Liverpool’s year as the European Capital of Culture kicked off with Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart and The Wombats playing on top of the hallowed surroundings of St George’s Hall. Here’s all the pics of the event…

  • It was may 2nd 1958 when we set sail on the Empress of Britain. the largestfamily to emigrate to canada.i was one of nine kids and my mother was 6 months pregnant. we have never forgotten our roots and the courage of our parents to make this journey.its now 50 years later and i can remember it like yesterday. hopefully someday we can all go back for a visit to this great country and city.
