Michael Eavis is remaining optimistic about the recent glut of bad weather that has severely affected musicians and festival goers at his Glastonbury Festival.
The stormy weather conditions have forced organisers to cancel performances from The Dead 60’s and The Subways over fears that lightning could strike the stages.
Speaking to Festivalwise, the festival founder said: “Coming to Glastonbury is always a bit of a risk.”
“The rain just makes things better, there is always more camaraderie. We’ve got to get used to it (the weather).
“The people here survive and cope. It’s quite warm so it should get better.
“We’ve just got to get on with it now and enjoy ourselves.”
Eavis went on to suggest to those who had rivers running through their tents to move to a more sheltered spot.
