More Glastonbury Festival
More The Dead 60s
Speaking exclusively to Festivalwise after Glastonbury cancelled their appearance at the festival due to treacherous weather conditions, The Dead 60s said they are gutted to have missed out.
Guitarist Ben Gordon said although the band are devastated at not playing, they're still going to enjoy the rest of their time here.
He said: "We're gutted beyond belief. It's a real shame, we've wanted to do Glastonbury for so many years.
"This was the first chance we had at playing it. It would have been brilliant."
He also expressed sympathy to The Subways, Adjagas and Black Bud who also had their sets pulled: "We feel sorry for the other bands who had to pull out, it's a real shame for everyone."
The band haven't also ruled out a low-key performance later today, although they were waiting for confirmation: "We might be doing a few songs in the Guardian tent, maybe later on."
Despite all the gloom, the band are adamant they are going to enjoy the rest of the festival: "As soon as we found out it was brandys all round, you know big drinks.
"We're just going to enjoy the rest of the festival as much as we can now."
