Brendan Benson is a darling of the Festivalwise office. Whether he’s touring with Keane around the US or in the UK with the support of Hal, the promotion of his new album’ Alternative to Love’ is also going extremely well.

Benson makes a pit stop to play at the Swap Festival that will be held around Manchester from July 1-3, 2005. Alongside Benson’s performance will be Thea Gilmour. The Oxford born songstress released her debut album ‘Burning Dorothy’ in 1999 through Shameless, her own label at the time. Praised by music magazines internationally, Thea will take her tour across the Atlantic shortly after her festival performance.

To celebrate the diversity of Swap festival and the opportunities that it opens up to aspiring artists, we have two copies of Brendan Benson’s new single, ‘Cold Hands (Warm Heart)’ and two pairs tickets to his show at Swap festival.
