More Glastonbury Festival
US rapper Jay-Z's mocking of Oasis' 'Wonderwall' at Glastonbury has been voted the most memorable festival moment of 2008.
The rapper, whose appearance was much publicised before the event, wowed crowds when he covered the Manchester band's most famous song at the beginning of his headline set.
The Glastonbury festival also won Best Major Festival, while organiser Michael Eavis was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution prize at the UK Festival Awards.
The three gongs cap a phenomenal comeback for the event whose future hung in the balance less than 12-months ago because of poor ticket sales and concerns about weather conditions.
Other winners at the awards ceremony in London included The Ting Tings, who scooped three festival prizes.
The band won Best Live Newcomer, Best Festival Pop Act and Anthem of the Summer for 'That's Not My Name'.
The Lovebox Weekender won Best Medium Sized Festival, Secret Garden Party won Best Small Festival and the Best line Up went to Scotland's T in the Park.
The Oxegen festival in Dublin walked away with Best European Festival.
