Download Announces 2009 Festival Dates

The 2009 edition of the Download Festival will take place from June 12th-14th, it's been announced.

The three day festival will be held at Donnington Park in Leicestershire.

At present, no bands have been confirmed for the festival, which this year featured headlining performances from KISS, The Offspring and Lostprophets.

Previous editions of the event have seen headlining slots from Metallica and Guns N' Roses. Tickets details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
