More Arctic Monkeys
Tony Christie has revealed why he covered a song by the Arctic Monkeys on his new album.
Christie's interpretation of 'Only The Ones Who Know' appears on 'Made In Sheffield', an album on which the singer pays tribute to his hometown of Sheffield.
Speaking to BBC 6Music, Christie said: "The reason I like the Monkeys is because they take me back to the 60's, It's very like that 60's scene, The Beatles and all that.
"It reminds me of that and of a time when I was kicking off in the business. So it's a bit retro but great."
Arctic Monkeys are currently recording their third studio album alongside Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.
Christie's new album is due to be released in the UK on November 11th.
