More The Beatles
An extremely grouchy Ringo Starr has posted a message on his official website telling fans not to post him any more fanmail, as he won't be signing it.
The Beatles legend warns in a stern voice that anything sent to him with a postmark date of October 20th or later won't be signed.
Despite his incredibly clichéd messages of peace and love throughout, the 68-year-old drummer comes across cantankerous and will no doubt upset many fans.
Titled 'Sorry, No More Signing Stuff', in the clip he pleads: “This is a serious message to everybody watching my update. Peace and love. Peace and love.
“I want to tell you after the 20th of October please do not send fan mail to any address you have. Nothing will be signed after the 20th of October. If that is the date on the envelope, it’s gonna be tossed.
"I’m warning you with peace and love I have too much to do. So no more fan mail. Thank you, thank you. And no objects to be signed. Nothing.
“Anyway, peace and love, peace and love.”
It's not the first time this year that Ringo has upset fans. In an interview with Jonathan Ross this January the star said he “didn't miss a thing” about his birthplace Liverpool – this was despite being heavily involved in the city's Capital of Culture celebrations.
