Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has revealed that he his hoping the Conservative party with the next General election.
But Gallagher isn’t backing the Tories’ policies, he’s more hopeful that a David Cameron government would bring back tougher times.
“I’m praying for the Tories to get in. Music is much better when times are hard,” he told the News of the World newspaper.
"There was that great moment in the mid-nineties where everything was great, and music was great - but it doesn’t last for long.
“It’d be nice if there were stormy clouds ahead. It’ll be alright for the likes of me obviously because I’m fabulously wealthy.
“No credit crunch for me.”
Gallagher famously met former Prime Minster Tony Blair during a visit to number ten Downing Street in 1997.
