More Glastonbury Festival
Tickets for the 2009 edition of the Glastonbury Festival go on sale tomorrow (October 5th), six months earlier than normal.
Organisers hope the earlier on-sale date will allow more people the chance of buying a ticket.
Fans who have pre-registered will be able to buy a full weekend ticket for the festival – priced at £175 – or reserve one for £50.
Unlike previous years, people will have the option to buy as many tickets as they wish, as long as they are matched to specific registration numbers.
The festival will take place on Worthy Farm from June 26th-28th.
The headliners at next year's event are expected to be confirmed over the coming months, but organisers have already said that “it's not Coldplay, it's not U2 and it's not the Rolling Stones."
