Jarvis Cocker has been announced as one of the keynote speakers at this year's In The City.
The former Pulp front man will give a lecture entitled 'Saying The Unsayable' on the function of lyrics in popular song.
The speech was first commissioned for this year's Brighton Festival and sees Cocker explore some of his favourite lyrics by himself and other artists.
Those artists include the likes of Pete Doherty, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Neil Sedaka, Hot Chocolate and Arctic Monkeys.
Alongside Cocker other keynote speakers at this years ITC will include former Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, Sire Records founder Seymour Stein and Big Life head honcho Jazz Summers.
