Santogold Joins Line Up For BBC Electric Proms

Santogold has joined the line up for this year's BBC Electric Proms, which get under way next month.

The American singer will support the Streets at London's Roundhouse on October 23rd.

As previously reported on Festivalwise, Keane, The Last Shadow Puppets and Tony Christie will all headline shows at the festival.

As will Razorlight and Burt Bacharach, who will play live alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra.

For the first time, Liverpool will also host the concerts to coincide with the city's reign as the European Capital of Culture 2008.

In total, over 80 artists will perform during the festival.
