Bestival 2008: Relive All The Freaks And Mud On Gigwise Now

It took five years - and an underwater fancy dress theme - but rain finally decided to fall on the Bestival festival this year.

Last weekend's event on the Isle of Wight, which boasted the likes of Amy Winehouse and My Bloody Valentine, was battered from start to finish by torrential weather conditions.

But that didn't stop many festival goers from living up to this years fancy dress theme of 30,000 Freaks Under The Sea.

To celebrate those who still tried to make the most of the mud, Festivalwise has collected some of our favourite fancy dress costumes (and a few disasters too!).
