Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon says he feared Mark Ronson “was on drugs” when they initially discussed the prospect of performing together.
As previously reports on Festivalwise, Ronson remixed a number of Duran Duran's hits at a special concert in Paris on Wednesday (July 2nd).
Speaking about the collaboration, Le Bon said: "The first conversation we had, were we in Tokyo and Mark was in Germany.
"It was one of those telephone hook-ups. It seemed like he was on drugs, quite frankly.
"Because of the kind of ideas he was coming up with, we were just like, 'Oh my God, where is he getting these ideas from?' They were completely off the wall,” he told the Daily Star.
Le Bon admitted that the band were happy with the pair's collaboration, which included a Bond medley, because “it was so unpredictable.”
