Chiodos Frontman Craig Owens Apologises For 'Vulgar' Download Insult

Chiodos frontman Craig Owens has apologised after he insulted a fan while on stage at last weekend's Download Festival.

Owens was a heckled by a fan who kept making a phallic symbol with his hand during the band's performance.

In response, the singer said: “What you want to do that to my Dick? You’re 11! I could get it out and it could reach you from here. But that would be illegal.”

Speaking to Festivalwise following the band's set, Owens said that he didn't mean to cause offence and had simply made the remark as a joke that he thought his fans would laugh at.

“If I made a remark like that in America, I’d have lost about 500 fans. Here in the UK, you guys are really cool and find that sort of shit funny. Thank God.”
