More Glastonbury Festival
More Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse will play on the Pyramid Stage just before headliner Jay-Z at this years Glastonbury Festival, organisers have revealed.
Emily Eavis, one of the festivals main organisers, said she had “total faith” that the singer will “come and deliver”.
"This is one of the biggest sets of the summer, supporting the most anticipated artist at Glastonbury in the past 38 years,” she told the BBC.
The announcement comes as photographers raise refresh fears about the singer’s health.
Organisers were criticised over Jay-Z’s headlining slot at this year’s festival, with Oasis guitarist Noel Gallgher saying it was bad for the event.
Tickets for the festival, which will also be headlined by The Verve and Kings of Leon, are still available for those who have registered by clicking here.
