More Kaiser Chiefs
Those pesky Kaiser Chiefs complete the line-up of headliners at next year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
The Leeds lads will headline the opening night and join the already confirmed Sex Pistols and The Police who play the Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Despite initial fears that the festival would be heavily weighted towards older acts, it now seems that they have drawn fresher, if fairly middling, blood.
Next year looks as though the Kaisers are ready to take on big things with a headline festival slot and their own massive gig at Elland Road in Leeds already confirmed. Expect there to be plenty of “na, na, na, naaa’s” and “oooooooohhhhs” ringing through 2008.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from June 13-15 at Seaclose Park.
Tickets go on general sale from 9am on this coming Monday (December 10).
