Morrissey Signs New Record Deal

A slightly insignificant piece of news in the light the NME’s ‘character assassination’, but Morrissey has penned a deal with Decca/Polydor records.

The artist is currently recording his new album and will release it through the imprint, having  left Sanctuary Records following the release of his last effort ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors’ in 2006.

In a bit of good news, the former Smiths frontman has completely sold out his six night residency at London’s Roundhouse in January.

In a not so good piece of news, Morrissey fans are still reeling after the NME today accused of being “naïve and inflammatory” about the subject of immigration. More about which can be read HERE
