Bat for Lashes and Metronomy are amongst the fresh batch of acts confirmed to appear at the Manchester International Festival next month.
Maps and Kid Harpoon will also be performing at ‘Unknown Pleasures’ – a fortnight long showcase feature the best up and coming artists.
Taking place at the Manchester Academy from June 29 to July 14, also performing are the likes of Late of the Pier, The Noisettes, Micah P Hinson, The Woimbats and Findlay Brown.
The gigs lead up to the huge event at the Salford Quays on July 15 with The Gossip, The Horrors, New Young Pony Club and The Whip all performing.
