Glastonbury is hoping to return bigger than ever in 2007 with organisers planning to squeeze another 20,000 people on to the site.
Melvin Benn, who is in charge of the operational side of the festival, says that there is ample room to increase the capacity up to 175,000.
He told the BBC: "We are going to grow the festival. I'm anticipating growing it by up to 20,000 people next year."
Last year’s festival saw 153,000 people attend though that pales into significance compared to 2000 when over 200,000 entered the site, half of them illegally.
