Picnic Festival (UK)

21st June 2009 - Midday 'til 10pm @ Shalford Park, Guildford.

When the Ambient Picnic launched in Guildford in July 1997 its ethos was simple – to promote contemporary artists within it’s region whilst showcasing an effective, environmentally friendly style of living.

Run as a non-profit family friendly festival, power is supplied by alternative power sources, including, solar, wind and alternative brown fuels.

Renamed as The Picnic Festival for 2009, the event evolved into a more intimate affair comprising of three music areas, the healing field, a market, food stands, get involved in the arts zone plus plenty more including, of course, a bar!!
