ATP - The Nightmare Before Christmas (UK)

The Nightmare Before Christmas takes pride in being part of the All Tomorrows Parties (see the profile) parcel. 

ATP picks curator/s and allows them the joy of picking their own line up without the mess of having to organise the festival around it. Previous curators include Devendra Banhart, Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vincent Gallo, Mogwai, Matt Groening, Jake and Dinos Chapman. Locations vary from UK resorts to the beaches of California.

Located in the Butlins holiday resort, there are sports abundant (yes that's ten-pin bowling, crazy golf, cricket of sorts,  table tennis, rounders, fencing, archery, netball, basketball, football, balls in general, a water paradise set at sub tropical temperatures and somehow much more). Butlins being in Somerset means there is a chilly beach at a convenient distance. Being a holiday resort ones fast food urges are also serviced at appropriatley acute proximities, as are cash points and convenience stores. Butlins holiday resort being what it is has rooms and berths for plenty, catered or not and the tickets are included with the 3 days stay in your bed. And there is a cinema! The Nightmare Before Christmas being a music festival means there is most importantly a surplus of sound.

There's going to be 50 plus bands over three days and Portishead are the choice curator of 2007.
