Panic At The Disco

Brendon Urie – Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard
Ryan Ross – Guitar, Keyboard, Backing Vocals
Brent Wilson – Bass
Spencer Smith - Drums

Back in the suburbs of Las Vegas 12 year old Ryan Ross would be the instigator in the process that spawned Panic At The Disco, all by asking his parents for an electric guitar for Christmas…Neighbourhood mate Spencer Smith would join his pal in jamming by acquiring a new drum kit for that same Christmas and thus the first inklings of Panic! At The Disco came to be.

Brent Wilson and Brendon Urie would join on bass and vocals a little later and the budding band would cover Blink-182 songs and hone their skills before finding their own sound relatively quickly. Borrowing their name from a Name Taken song “Panic” and using Spencer’s Grandmother’s living room for a practice space, they would craft the songs that would appear on ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’.

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz would soon take notice of the band’s flair for experimentation, and help them get signed by Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen. All while they were still in high school.

Things got serious and the band’s school life suffered with some members just scraping through their final years of school, but their loyalty to their music paid off as the recording of their debut album would take them to Maryland and in the capable hands of producer Matt Squire (Thrice, Northstar, The Receiving End Of Sirens).

‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’ was released on 13th Feb and has already reached silver status and is set to achieve Gold status very soon.
