The Verve, Portishead For Coachella 2008

The Verve, Portishead and The Breeders are amongst the first batch of names confirmed for the Coachella Festival.

Taking place from April 25-27 at the Empire Polo Field, Indio, California, the music and arts festival also boasts performances from the likes of Jack Johnson, Rilo Kiley and My Morning Jacket, according to the LA Times.

More acts are expected to be announced later today (January 21).

Last year’s Coachella Festival featured performances from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Interpol, Jarvis Cocker, Bjork and Sonic Youth.
